Thanks so much to those of you who made it down to the Duck last night. We had an awesome time, and hopefully you did too. Scroll down for photos of the night, and scroll a bit further for the playlist. Remember, the next Half My Heart Beats will be on Saturday 13th December!

Oi, colin and lynsey! Since I'll be in glasgow in time for the next night I would like to be a proper bastard and request something? Ruby Andrews - Just Loving you? It's a northener oh and Skatalites - Have A Good Time? Even though they have little to do with indiepop, they're magnificient. Oh, and if you guys were to (by chance obviously) have London 0 Hull 4 on repeat (perhaps skip the slower songs though) I wouldn't mind either.... :D See you there!
Btw, what does one do in glasgow in ones sparetime? Is there a place with DDR or is drinking the agendum?
I can absolutely guarantee that I will play at least one track off London 0 Hull 4. Maybe two, if you're nice. Any particular requests? I think I have that Ruby Andrews one on a compilation somewhere, and I can have a dig about for the Skatalites one.
I am not well-versed in the ways of DDR, but I think there is one in a bowling alley somewhere. In such a wondrous location, the noble pursuits of drinking and DDR can be pursued in conjunction with each other. See you in December!
Sheep. I want sheep. Or actually, to fit in with the season and all wouldn't "I smell winter" be a winner? Man From Delmonte - My Love Is Like A Gift You Can't Return, they go boom - world at our feet or that confetti... river island cover they did.
I gotta stop, My list of requests would make for a book or two. Do you have a vinyl setup btw? If so as an act of courtesy I could bring you a song called Love Love Love, well worth playing... :)
Why not well-versed? There are few activites more fun than ddr. Oh, I gotta visit that bowling alley somewhere, ddr and drinking just works till the third beer, then you start looking like a duck. A drunken duck stepping on weird metal plates woth weird observers...
Half My Heart Beats is a monthly indiepop, girl group and anti-folk night at The 78, a pub in Glasgow's west end. It takes place on the fourth Saturday of every month from 9pm until midnight and is free.
We also play records at the odd one-off event, when people ask us.
